its my dad he was raised in a ophanage he had 2 brothers ben and steve ben lives in norfolk and steve in caterham surrey . dad moved to wales in 1995 after losing our mum ivy she passed away in the north hants hospital basingstoke . dad had never been ill other than a cold he had a fall in his kitchen he fell off his chair in the end it lead to him having carers taking care of him he had diabetes, he had asmatha, many other problems but just got on with it hated being fused over he was in and out of hospitals he had a a operation to repair his hip he went into a re,hab unit eventually he went home he was determined to walk out of the re hab centre to go home carers called to take care of him his legs were not very strong he became unable to walk so a hoist was used to move him from his bed to his chair he ended back in hospital because he burnt his arm on his radiator at home . cot sides was given to stop him hurting his self he fell out of his bed the cot sides protected him then again he ended back in hospital , eventually a decision was made for him to go into a care home hafen y coed , after just a short while he ended back in morrison hospital swansea where he had his right leg amputated a week later on the 11th december 2011 he went to sleep and passed away r,i. p dad no more pain .his service will be 23rd december 2011 in south wales .
